On June 3rd, the teacher teaching development center of the Computer College invited Professor He Qinming from Zhejiang University to give a lecture on “construction and declaration of teaching achievements”. Bao Jian, secretary of the college, Lin Fei, vice president of the college, heads of various specialties and heads of grass-roots teaching organizations attended the lecture. Professor He Qinming is the famous teacher of the national “Ten Thousand People Plan”, vice chairman of the steering committee of computer course teaching in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, and chairman of the steering committee of computer major teaching in colleges and universities of Zhejiang province. He has won the first prize, the second prize of the national teaching achievements, and many first and second prizes of teaching achievements in Zhejiang province.

Professor He first ****yzed the types and key points of teaching achievements, and then introduced in detail the ways to build teaching achievements: top-level design, landmark achievement building, achievement promotion and radiation. Also, the main points and writing examples in each part of the result declaration are explained. Finally, Professor He talked about some experiences based on his own applications, and discussed with the attended teachers about how to cultivate the results, how to summarize the innovation points of the results and other issues which were confusing in the declaration process.

The holding of this special lecture provides the college teachers with ideas and directions in the application of Teaching Achievement Awards, which is of great significance to improve the teaching research level of the college and the quality of education and teaching achievements.
