The 2021 International Forum on High-End Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing was held at the Hangzhou Dianzi University Information Engineering College located in Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City.
The event was jointly organized by Hangzhou Dianzi University and Zhejiang Mechanical Engineering Society, and co-organized by School of Mechanical Engineering, Hangzhou Dianzi University and Hangzhou Dianzi University Information Engineering College, with the support of Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation Committee.
Opening and Keynotes
The forum was an online and offline hybrid enent. More than 50 domestic and foreign experts and scholars attended the forum, including Prof. Tan Jianrong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering (attended online), Prof. Zhu Zefei, the President of Hangzhou Dianzi University, Prof. Ni Jing, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Cao Bingyang of Tsinghua University, Professor Fu Xin of Zhejiang University, Prof. Xie Yonghe, Vice Presidentof Zhejiang Ocean University, Professor Islam of Islamic University of Science and Technology (attended online), to exchange and share the cutting-edge achievements in the field of high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing.

Ma Guojin, Vice President of Hangzhou Dianzi University, presided over the opening ceremony of the forum, and Prof. Zhu Zefei delivered a speech, saying, I hope that the annual International Forum on High-End Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing can attract scholars from all around the world who are engaged in high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing and related fields to fully communicate, learn from each other, and make progress together.

Academician Tan Jianrong gave an invited report entitled Intelligent Manufacturing and Intelligent Equipment: Key Technologies and Development Trends. In the report, he emphasized the importance of technological innovation and scene innovation, introduced the new generation of artificial intelligence, manufacturing processes and technologies, and pointed out the opportunities and challenges faced by high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing.
Prof. Fu Xin gave an invited presentation titled A Research on Cavitation Noise, which proposed the mechanism of cavitation noise generation and suppression theory and method in the key fluid control element - hydraulic valve.
Prof. Cao Bingyang gave an invited presentation on Thermal managements for modern IC, focusing on the cutting-edge technologies, methods and theories of modern chip thermal management.
Prof. Xie Yonghe made an invited report titled Research, Development and Application of Intelligent Fishing Equipment in Deep and Remote Seas, focusing on deep and remote fishing equipment manufacturing and intelligent control technology and its application.
In an invited presentation titled Application of Nanofluid in Heat Exchangers for Energy Savings, Prof. Islam focused on the specific application of nanofluids in energy recovery processes.
The Forum also featured four sessions to discuss the trend of intelligence, with a strong academic atmosphere. Scholars discussed IC equipment and intelligent manufacturing, aerospace equipment and intelligent manufacturing, robotics and intelligent manufacturing and marine equipment and intelligent manufacturing and other topics to start academic discussions.
