1月6日下午，国际教育学院在225会议室举办了首期留学生微座谈。16名来自多个国家的优秀留学生代表参加了此次座谈。院长郭继东、学院直属党支部书记、副院长何晨玥、副院长刘大为、学工办主任于平原、留学生辅导员老师史维、潘伟、李君宇、刘振坤及招生办陈君雅出席座谈会。座谈会由李君宇主持。

On the afternoon of January 6, SIE held the first Talk and Exchange for foreign students in meeting room 225. 16 representatives of international students from many countries attended the meeting. Dean Guo Jidong, vice dean He Chenyue, vice dean Liu Dawei, director of students' affairs office Yu Pingyuan, counselors Shi Wei, Pan Wei, Li Junyu, Liu Zhenkun and staff of Enrollment Office Chen Junya attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Junyu.

座谈会以“留学杭电，感悟中国”为主题，在轻松的氛围中进行。留学生代表们积极畅谈了在校学习和生活情况，并对教学、生活管理、疫情防控等方面提出了很好的建议，也对学院领导和老师们的关心表示感谢。与会领导和工作人员仔细倾听、详细记录，并针对部分问题进行了现场解答。

The meeting was held in a relaxed atmosphere with the theme of studying in HDU and understanding China. The representatives of foreign students actively talked about their study and life in school, put forward good suggestions on teaching, life management and epidemic prevention and control, and thanked the leaders and teachers of the school for their concern. The leaders and staff listened carefully, recorded in detail, and answered some questions on site.

At the beginning of the meeting,Pan Wei led students to review the wonderful moments in 2021.

留学生代表们看得非常认真，时不时点头，回味过去的美好瞬间。接着，在主持人的引导下开始微座谈。大家对学院过去和未来的工作提出了自己的意见和建议。

The representatives of students focused on the screen and nodded from time to time to aftertaste the beautiful moments of the past. Then, under the guidance of the host, the discussion started. Everyone put forward their own opinions and suggestions on the past and future work of the school.

现场讨论气氛十分热烈。讨论环节结束后，学院向与会留学生代表赠送了一些介绍中国文化的精品书籍和虎年吉祥物，学生们对学院提供交流平台表示感谢，会继续支持学院的工作。

The atmosphere of disscussion was very warm. After the discussion, the school presented some excellent books on Chinese culture and the year of the Tiger mascot to the representatives. The students thanked the college for providing an exchange platform and will continue to support the work of the school.

院长郭继东对活动进行了总结，对他们选择杭电学习表示欢迎，并鼓励他们在学好专业课的同时，更加深入地了解真实的中国，去感受友好的、温暖的中国。

Guo Jidong summarized the meeting, extended warm welcome to students, and encouraged them to study hard, understand the real China more deeply,and to perceive the friendliness of China.
